1932 Buick Towncar
This beautiful Buick town car was originally owned by Mr. Thomas C. Garthshore and according to a 1940 census, Mr. Garthshore was 30 years old when he ordered this Buick.
The configuration of this body does not fit perfectly with a normal town car which usually was configured with the chafferer in the open driving position, usually with leather upholstery and the back of a town car was almost always a limousine. The configuration in this car lends its self to a picnic or pleasure car with the trunk situated ahead of a reclining spare tire is completely unique. The car came with several period correct accessories such as golf clubs, tennis rackets and picnic set.
