Hudson was considered a high quality auto manufacturer. Their low priced cars in the 20s and 30s was the ESSEX to complete the Big 3. Beginning in 1933, Hudson introduced the Terraplane. By the end of the year, the light, high powered Terraplane, claimed the highest power-to-weight ratio and 90hp. It held 50 hill climb and speed records with the fresh styling shown here. In 1934 Hudson dropped the Essex name for just Terraplane. The only change from the original is hydraulic brakes from mechanical. This beautiful automobile went through a three year restoration. Check out the cool rumble seat in the back.
