1963 Chevrolet C-10

1963 Chevrolet C-10

1963 was the third year in this truck series and the last year that the truck featured a curved glass windshield, a common design theme in all of GMʼs brands during this era. Also in 1963, the truck no longer offered torsion spring suspension but coil springs and marker lamps now carried the federal governments mandated orange/amber color. This truck was bought from the current owner by the original family in 2006. It was originally purchased to tow a snow cone machine during the hot summer months. Later, it was used as a daily commuter for work. When this truck made the move to California, it was the first time the truck had ever left Newton County, Mississippi. When this truck isnʼt educating the public at the Murphy Auto Museum, it can often be seen with its matching Cushman scooter towing a 1962 Airstream travel trailer to various shows and events.
