The Electric Drive
Transportation Association (EDTA) is inviting the public to the “Ride, Drive,
& Charge” event at the 26th International Electric Vehicle Symposium at the Los
Angeles Convention Center from May 6 - 8, 2012.
The Coda Sedan, Honda FCX
Clarity, Mercedes Benz B-Class F-CELL, Mitsubishi Motors i-MiEV, Nissan LEAF,
and the Toyota Prius-Plug-In will be available for test drives, as well as
vehicles from BYD Motor, GM / Chevrolet, Lyric, Smith, Via and others. Several
companies will also demonstrate how to charge electric vehicles, including:
AeroVironment, Evatran, Qualcomm Halo, and Siemens. View photos of some of the

The hours will be on Sunday,
May 6 from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday, May 7 from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
and Tuesday, May 8 from 9:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Participants can gain hands-on
experience with electric vehicles, including riding, driving and learning how
to use different types of electric vehicle chargers.
Also on Sunday, May 6, the
public will also have an opportunity to tour more than 160 exhibits on the show

Public registration for
GoElectricDrive Day (including the exhibit hall, workshop and Ride, Drive,
& Charge) will be available onsite for $10 for adults and $5 for children
(ages 6-18, children 5 and younger are free of charge). For more information

Racing Dreams follows these
three young racers as competitors in races organized by the World Karting
Association (WKA) — the largest national sanctioning body for karting in North
America. The WKA alone boasts 10,000 active members (both youth and adult) and
counts 120 tracks worldwide where competitive races are held. Other
organizations regulating karting in the United States include the International
Kart Federation (IFK) and the Karters of America Racing Triad (KART).
