Welcome to The Murphy Auto Museum
The Murphy Auto Museum, located in Oxnard, California, is a collection of over 90 beautiful vintage automobiles and Americana housed inside a 30,000 square foot facility. Our unique collection spans from 1903 to present day.
We are also home to one of the largest H/O scale train layouts, with many scale miles of track. Enjoy watching passenger and freight trains as they wind their way through cities, towns and the countryside.
We are open on Wednesdays, 6pm-10pm and on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, from 10am-4pm, or by appointment for special groups. We have exciting new exhibits planned each quarter in our main showroom and various community activities throughout the year. We hope you come visit us soon!
1960 Holiday House
Conceived by Harry and David Company (the same company that sends fruit baskets during the holiday season), as a way way to keep his workers employed during the January to July “off season”. What set the Holiday House trailers apart was their overall progressive styling both inside and out. This is a beautiful example.
